This morning we packed pad bags with @Tempe Rising Indivisible at Brick Road Coffee, and we packed a much-needed 312 bags in about an hour. It was a wonderful group in a wonderful location. Gabe, the owner, and Tempe City Councilmember Bobby Nichols both came over to talk with us…it was a very good morning. Thanks to Amy Hansen and Wendy A. Rosen for making it extra special! And, a special thanks to MadamPrez, for organizing it! ... See MoreSee Less

This evening we packed almost 300 pad bags with the women for @Tempe Womens Club. As I’ve said before, August is a really tough month for packing parties, and we’ve distributed almost 7,000 bags this month, and these women came out on this hit Friday evening to help us. Thank you❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

We have been partners with Pathway To Work for probably 5-6 years and watching their young adults grow, mature, and become proud of their work skills is incredible. Every Wednesday, they do work for us, and they do it with happy hearts and pride. This week they unboxed pads and mated socks for a homeless outreach I volunteer for. They assemble bags, unbox, sort, and generally make Women4Women Tempe a better organization. I love them. ❤️thank you all ... See MoreSee Less

Deliveries are usually fraught with stress, tension, and discomfort, but this morning we received a pallet of pads and it was so smooth! I did have to flag the truck down to show him where the storage facility is (it’s sorta tucked away) and the truck was too large to get in there, so the driver parked in the parking lot, unloaded the pallet, and used the pallet jack to take the pallet to its new home! Thanks to Barry and Loretta for being there! Easy peasy…that’s what we like! ... See MoreSee Less

Three packing parties in three days can be a tad tiring, but our last party this afternoon was with our Friendship Village Tempe family, and true to form, we laughed a lot, chatted, AND we all packed 701 bags! I always leave with a happy heart, but damn, it was hot outside (114 degrees, per my car). ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

We packed bags with the NCJW tonight, and not only did they pay almost 800 bags, they made PBJ sandwiches for immigrant families. It was an evening of compassion, caring, and laughter!
