We pack most of our ASU parties at the Tempe 1st United Methodist Church, which is very, very close to the ASU campus, and last week the church members packed with us again, and they packed over 400 pad bags! I love when so many amazing women get together to do good deeds, and that’s what we had with these women! ... See MoreSee Less

Amy Hansen wrote a Diamondbacks grant which we received last year and we were invited to a reception honoring the nonprofits that received grants. Because Amy was not available, Karen Merrell and I went, and it was fun! There were only 63 grants awarded in 2025, and we got one, which is really exciting! Randy Johnson spoke to us as did Derrick Hall, the CEO.
We rode the light rail in and back, watched some of the game, and had the obligatory beer! A very good evening, indeed.
All of this because Amy wrote an amazing grant, and the grant told our story. ❤️
