I took bags to Jennifer Valencia on Sunday and received this text this morning…we KNOW what we do is good, but we so seldom hear it, so thank you Jennifer for taking care of people, and for letting us know! ❤️

Just wanted to give you an update on the pad and tampon packs that you gave me. I brought a bag of each to the Rollins laundromat over the weekend to give out to women in need who are doing their laundry. The two women who run the laundry program, Jen and Christal, passed them out to everybody.

I volunteered last night with the masa project in Phoenix and passed out multiple bags to women in need, and left some with a lead volunteer Irene so she can pass them out over the next couple of nights. They provide a nightly dinner to people in need and also pass out clothes and toiletries when they can.

The remaining pads and tampons will be giving out to people in need, some of the family families through AZ hugs and some other families.

I just wanted to thank you again for such a generous donation and for making the pad and tampon packs. So many women in need don't have access to sanitary products and are embarrassed to ask. It feels really good to be able to give people something that should be a fundamental basic that we all have.

We have huge parties, we have medium parties, and we have small parties, and although the Tempe Women’s Club party was small, we all packed 300 pad bags. Each and every packing party is important, and helps women in our community maintain their dignity and health. PERIOD.
