There are so many behind-the-scenes jobs at W4W Tempe, and we have a very diverse group of volunteers keeping us going. I took a lot of pad packages to Believe I Can Academy for the students to unbox for us, and while Karen Merrell and I were there, we purchased some home-made sourdough bread baked by the group, and I chose the Garden Peppers/Monterey Jack cheese loaf, and it is absolutely delicious! It is probably my favorite loaf EVER!

Not all deliveries go smoothly… we were expecting 2 pallets of tampons today, but we received one ginormous pallet, which happened to topple over as it was coming off the truck. Boxes were all over the place, but the driver, our friend Barry, and I got them all gathered up and put into the unit. We will go over in the morning (when it will be a LOT cooler) to her boxes put away neatly. What a morning. ... See MoreSee Less
