But on top of already rising prices, state law in Arizona still puts a luxury tax on th...Our wonderful team of Jeanie Ghan, Barbara Mishler and Sheila packed bags for the last time this year with Liz Cox Elston with Mt. Pointe High School students. They packed 327 pad bags! Woohoo!
Wow! I’m rarely speechless, but Carol Reed from Paz de Cristo gifted Women4Women Tempe with a huge donation, and I was speechless.
I volunteered at Paz for several years in the dining room, and absolutely loved it, and now I love them more! My car, and my heart, are full.❤️

Last night we packed bags with the ASU MedLife group. MedLife had received a grant to purchase dental hygiene products which Lily, one of their members, will take to Viet Nam and Laos this summer, as well as other hygiene products that will be taken to Peru this summer. We have packed with this group for over 2 years, and being with these young people is always a treat! Thanks to Barbara Mishler, Larry, Sierra and Lacie, a new volunteer, for making this party successful (and fun!).
The first Tuesday of every month we are honored to go to The Centers for Habilitation where they help us pack bags. Yesterday was an atypical cool day in May, so we packed outside again. I love hearing the jibber-jabber and the laughter when we all get together. It’s always a very special morning. We also had 2 new volunteers with us, which was cool!
Saturday afternoon Dawn, Sheila and I packed bags with The Humanisy Society, and we packed well over 400 pad bags! Saturday was a day of working with great people, laughs, discussions and compassion. I was exhausted when I got home, but my heart was full (as is our storage unit!). ❤️
Saturday morning, we packed with the women from the Word Church for the second time, and this time was even more fun and we packed 452 pad bags!! Besides a little table malfunction, it was a perfect party. Thanks to Rose Ellis and Alicia Stuebner Jerger for helping out, and adding to the fun!
Saturday morning we were invited to University Presbyterian Church, Tempe for a delicious lunch, fun, and a packing party! Everybody was so wonderful, and fun, and we packed almost 300 pad bags. Thanks to Jeanie Ghan and Jeanine for keeping things moving! It was really a very special event.
This morning we had our first Phillips Law Group
Packing party of 2025, and when we walked in at 10:00, News Channel 5 was there, so that was cool, then Kirsten Dorman from KJZZ radio station came to watch and interview us! A very fun, busy day.
