We were invited to the Diamondbacks/Angels game today to receive a check by the Diablos’, and we were all so excited! We all woke up to a wonderful, beautiful, rare stormy day, but the rain abated, and we were emailed that the game would be played. So off we went; all of us in Amy’s car.
We arrived early, so much excitement, anticipation, and cold! Brrr! At about 12:20, the game was called for rain, so we headed to Final Round for lunch.
Although we did t receive our check, and we did not go onto the field, I had a fantastic day with women I truly love, and am proud to be working with: Barbara Mishler, Karen Merrell, Rosebud M Ellis, Melissa Levinson Singer, Amy Hansen,it wouldn’t let me tag you). You are all the best!

When our little group talks about our favorite packing parties, The Centers for Habilitation is always one of the top two! We all leave with such joy, smiles, laughter and love. Thanks Heather Rodriguez for being absolutely amazing! Today was just flat fun!
Sunday afternoon I attended an event called Tea with Intention, with a lot of amazing women with Women’s Federation for World Peace where I was presented with a HerStory Award. I was one of six women who received the award, and I was honored, and humbled, to be included in this group. I was nominated by Glenda Lambert, who also received an award. It was a wonderful afternoon.
We had two packing parties on Saturday, and both groups donated a LOT of products (yippee!). Sarah Davis offered for her students to unbox them (they had done this many times), but I was concerned there were just too many boxes. “Nope”, she assured me, and two hours later Sarah texted that they were done and ready to pick up! Wow! Thanks Believe I Can Academy!

This morning we had a great packing party with Michelle Laws and a lot of her friends! Not only did they pack almost 300 tampon bags, the donated a lot of products!! Most of these women worked at ASU, and they were just a wonderful, giving group. Thanks to Sierra for helping!
