It’s that time again!! These organizations (especially us 💁🏻‍♀️) are amazing groups who help our community, our city and our families. Please donate, drive by, say “hi” and we will give you a special treat!! Aris Foundaruon, Care7, TCAA, Lost Our Home, and Women4Women Tempe are all amazing and we ALL rely on donations. Please stop by. ❤️❤️

Well, my friend @Diane Alleycats organized a community packing party for Saturday at 11:00 at the LDS Church across from McClintock High School. I have been rather scattered and forgot and made other plans. I was in Avondale with my friends Stacey and Darryl, when I got the call that there was a lot of folks ready to pack bags, and I wasn’t there. An hour later, I had traversed the Valkey, raided the storage unit and my garage, ad we had a very successful packing party. There were enough people there who knew what to do, so they set up the tables, and everyone took a break until noon to get something to eat.
I was so angry with myself, but this pretty incredible group of Tempe residents, packed 607 pad bags, and they were absolutely ok with me being late.
Lesson learned….i have to stop kicking myself when I screw up. I have such a strong support “family”, and they had my back. It’s been a hard week personally, so thank you all who were there.

Whenever there are gaps in our packing parties (but the need continues to increase), we rely on our Contempo Tempe family, and this amazing group not only assembled 900 bags, the unboxed lots of pads, liners and wipes. ❤️ thank you all. ... See MoreSee Less

Going to Friendship Village Tempe every month is just flat fun. They all know us, we know them, and it’s just easy, peasy packing. I didn’t bring enough stickers this time, so I had to go home to get more, and I was received by a round of applause when I got back. Family. Community. Friends. This is Friendship Village. ❤️ ... This morning we packed bags with the women at North Scottsdale United Methodist Church and these experienced packers packed 646 bags and they did it in about an hour! We pack bags with them twice a year, and they always donate a lot of product. It was a fun, productive morning! Barbara Mishler, Dawn and Chris were also there to make sure things ran smoothly. ... There are many times we ask the young adults at Pathway to Work to help us, and they have been unboxing pads this week. The only question they ask is, “When do you need them?” and they have them ready so I can pick them up. It always happens so fast that I don’t get a picture, but I got one Tuesday! Thanks to the amazing staff and young adults who are very much a part of our family! ... See MoreSee Less
